Internship programme
The Mechanism's Internship Programme offers professionals, graduate students, and undergraduate students who are in the final stages of their education the possibility to enhance their professional training in the unique environment of one of the two branches of the Mechanism.
Working for the United Nations means working with colleagues from around the world and from all walks of life. At the Mechanism, we are fortunate to have people from many different cultures and backgrounds. We consider diversity in all respects one of our biggest strengths as we work together to ensure justice and accountability for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.
An internship at the Mechanism is an opportunity to look behind the scenes of a renowned international institution, contribute to its historic work, and build the skills that you need to succeed in your career. Many of our staff members have previously been interns at an international court or tribunal and former interns are now working in a diverse range of fields, both internationally or in their home countries.
